Lounges at the Toronto Pearson International Airport
Airport lounges are an important consideration for most travelers, particularly if they have a good amount of time to kill between flights. Here is a list of lounges at the Pearson Airport; make the most of their services for a great travel experience the next time you will be in Toronto.
Maple Leaf Lounges – Air Canada
Maple Leaf Lounges by Air Canada are a hard to miss Terminal 1 presence on Toronto’s International (Level 3, Node F), Trans-border (Level 4, Node F) and Domestic Terminals. Warm, inviting and comfortable, they have showers and child-care centers; they are the perfect havens to overcome the stress of traveling. Private, serene, and with neat architectural lines they offer a delectable range of free snacks, all kinds of beverages and beer on tap. They also have fully equipped Hewlett Packard business centers, HD televisions, and free wireless Internet access. The lounges can be availed by passengers traveling in First and Business Class, and also by members.
KLM Lounge – Air France
Toronto International Airport has the Air France-KLM Lounge on Terminal 3, above Gate C33. Passengers with qualifying tickets can stop here to unwind from one in the afternoon until midnight. It offers complimentary light snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and Heineken on tap. This VIP lounge has all modern business amenities like television, Wi-Fi, Phone and Fax. It is accessible to ticketed passengers flying First or Business Class.
Admirals’ Club – American Airlines
American Airlines’ Admirals’ Club is located on Terminal 3, Concourse B. It is equipped with luxurious chairs and business centers with high speed Internet access. You can treat yourself to a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine along with some snacks. And yes, they do keep the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Food is available for purchase and it is open for 11 to 12 hours a day.
British Airways’ Lounge
The British Airways’ Lounge located on Terminal 3, airside at the end of pier C is sophisticated and flaunts great élan. With a brilliant vista of airplanes, it offers an exquisite 'white linen and roses' dining experience to its First and Business Class passengers. Reminiscent of all things British , the lounge serves English tea, Boddingtons Pub Ale and snacks. A wide range of British newspapers are available at the lounge and it is also equipped with a business center with free wireless Internet access.
Plaza Premium Lounges
There are three Plaza Premium Lounges at the Pearson Airport, one for each departure – International, Trans-border and Domestic. These lounges are not affiliated to an airline, but are an undertaking of Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited. Very conveniently located, these lounges have wholesome, complimentary, food. A day pass lets you take advantage of showers, business centers with complete Internet access, television, and safety of your luggage besides the complimentary food and beverages.
Toronto International airport is not a place where you could find excuses for being stressed or bored. All the lounges offer great services and are thoughtfully designed to cater to travelers’ needs.
